When my husband asked me if I wanted to go to a "Wellness Presentation", I told him yes but that I was sure they were selling something and we were NOT buying it! We went, and when the presenter said that 75% of chronic disease could be prevented with Whole Food Nutrition. It made me think. I don't know my mother since she left when I was 5 years old, my father died at 61 from complications with diabetes, his dad died from a heart attack when I was 4 years old, my grandmother and aunt on my father's side had Alzheimer’s...and that's just the few that I knew about. Then I thought of my situations...I've had brain surgery, high cholesterol, high blood pressure, other surgeries, and maybe, just maybe this would help! We do have a daughter and two grandchildren, and if 75% of chronic disease can be prevented by consuming Whole Food, why not at least give it a try.
